Pac-Man Jones would probably be playing next season.
Jones was suspended for the entire 2007/08 NFL season by Commissioner Roger Goodell following a year of, among other things, spitting on women and making it rain on ho’s. Surprisingly, the spitting and the making it rain are quite different acts.
Goodell also came down hard on Cincinnati Bengalis receiver Chris Henry, who has an asinine amount of alcohol-related offenses on his record. You know, you’d think he’d see a trend after a while.
These guys make an interesting point: Jones probably got it much worse than Henry even though he’s never actually been convicted of anything. For Goodell’s case however, Pac-Man gets questioned by the police more than Tony Soprano. Maybe they’re just building a strong case.
